Richmond Celebration Gala
On Friday 8 November Richmond School held their Gala Celebrations. Our Gala was from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.We were celebrating and thanking our community for all their support over the years. Everything was free it's our way to say thank you.
It was nice to see some of our old people who used to come here. We had a lot of fun and it was also nice to see everyone show up. Room 3 worked really hard to get everything ready for the gala. Oh yes I forgot to tell you that this school opened in 1875 and it has been here for 138 years.
We had an outdoor cafe that gave out Popcorn and Candy Floss. Our teacher cooked and gave out free Sausages Sizzle, Meat Pattie Sandwiches, Bacon Butties, Coffee, Tea, Juice, flavoured water and fruit salad. "The food was so good." "Yum". We also provided table and chairs for our guest to sit on.
We also had some fun activities like three little Jeeps to ride on for free, we had two Bouncy Castles, Cheap Skate Skateboards, Skates and Ramps.
I came with my cousin and his mum. My favourite activity was the Jeeps. I loved the Bouncy Castle. My favourite food was the popcorn and candy floss.
In my opinion it was awesome and it was nice to see everyone enjoy themselves. I would love to do it again.
