Top team challenge

31/10/13.                                       Top Team Challenge.

On Tuesday 29 of October my school hosted a Top Team Challenge. We invited some school to participate in the Top Team Challenge. The schools were Linwood North, Shirley Primary, Banks Avenue, Seabrook Mackenzie and ourselves, Richmond.

 We had 10 activities some of them were the Egg and Spoon race, the Jig Saw Puzzle, the Water activities and the Memory Maze. Canterbury Sports organised everything and they supplied all the equipment for each activity. There was more than a hundred people competing.

  

We had team's. My team was called The Blue Whale our colour was Blue. The people in my team were Michael the team captain, Jakita, De-Ella, Ailze, Riley and myself. In my opinion we all had a blast. 

Flick it on challenge .

Hi it is me again. This term Room 3 have making a film called Flick it on challenge, the student collaborative film making challenge. First we made a silent movie after we had researched about it. Then  we give our movie to another school in America they send their movie to a school in the North Island and they send theirs to us. The school in America add's music and the school in the North Island add's the dialogue to our movie and we do the same to their movie.

There are 3 things we needed to add in the movie a clock, a magic trick and the rubriks cube. Our theme has been how  Education has changed over time. We went to Willowbank to film the Pre European then we went to Ferrymead to film the Early European time. The Present was filmed at school in Room 1 and 2 , the Future was filmed in the I.C.T room. We green screened the Future . The film is one minute long.  So each of the scenes are only 15 seconds. We had time traveller who were Hannah and Noa. The people in the Pre European were Salote, John , Rodney and Jakita. Salote was the teacher. The Early European actors were Connor, Jakita and Tom. Whaea Rose was the teacher. In the Future scene the actors were  Michael, Rishap, Kamai and me. The scene went amazingly well and we also learned so much. 

In my opinion we did a magnificent job.
